Abstract

Biochemical studies on Aloe vera leaf spot disease induced by Alternaria alternata at 10, 25 and 50 per cent intensity were carried out. A significant reduction in chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b was recorded with increase in disease intensity. A reduction in suger content was also observed with the increase in disease severity. While phenol and protein content was significantly increased with the increasing in disease intensity.
