This study was conducted to evaluate the level of adoption of animal husbandry practices and its relationship with the profile characteristics of the rural livestock farmers conducting survey among Women Self Help Groups. Two mandals under trained category and two mandals under untrained category were selected for the study. Data was collected about level of adoption and profile characteristics of women Self Help Groups. Medium level of adoption was observed in both groups. But in trained group it was significantly higher than untrained group and the relationship between adoption level and profile characteristics shown significant correlation irrespective of groups. But the independent variable age was negatively and non significantly correlated with adoption level of the respondents.
